^This is a series of books, about a girl named Mo and her best friend Dale. A man in their town is murdered, and while they weren’t big fans of his attitude, they decide to solve the mystery before the detective who is an outsider. This is a nice book for younger kids to read, and it introduces them to a simple murder mystery. The other books in the series do not have a murder mystery. The second book in the series, called “Ghosts of Tupelo Landing”, is about Mo and Dale trying to solve the mystery of a haunted old inn. The second book was my least favourite. The last book, called “Odds of Getting Even”, is about Mo finding out the truth behind her past. I liked this book too.
