^An owl called Tag, hopes to become an Owl of Valor, a group of owls protecting a land called Valor Wood. The leader of the Owls of Valor stops by at the training camp and tells them that an evil vulture is coming to destroy the island of Perioda. The story is about how Tag and his friends prepare to defeat the vulture and make him powerless. My favourite book in the series was the sixth book, The Battle for Periods. I like this series because it is full of adventure. Again, this is a perfect first-chapter book, easy to read, with a gripping storyline.
