^Prince Lucas is bored of being cooped up in the Palace. His father wouldn't allow him to play with the only friend he has, Clara. In the first book, he ties a thick rope to his bedroom window and escapes to find his horse, Ivan. He disguises himself and goes to a school that Clara studies in. The king's men find him and take him back to the castle. Finally, the king allows him to play with Clara, and they go on many adventures. In the first book, they are looking for a lost emerald. I found their adventures interesting, especially since a dragon joins them in the second book. I definitely recommend this series.
