They have exciting and fun adventures saving Crestwood - the home of the dragons from an evil dragon and his master, who is hidden in the royal palace. The master wants to rule Wrenly and has been scheming to bring the king and dragons down for years. There is also a connection to an old, evil dragon king. The books are suspenseful, and the dragons have a good sense of humour.
