This is a murder mystery about a boy named Christopher who lives with his dad. His mom passed away a while ago. Christopher has Asperger’s syndrome, a type of Autism which makes him obsessed with science and math. When he sees his neighbour's dog lying on the ground with a pitchfork through it, he has to investigate. Ignoring his father’s orders to leave it alone, Christopher finds out that his father has been keeping vital secrets from him. The end of this book is quite a surprise and not what you would expect. There are several instances where inappropriate language is used, so I would recommend it only for 13+ kids.
