^Wings of Fire is set in a world where dragons live. There are many types of dragons, and these different dragons live in groups that have been at war for 20 years. A mysterious prophecy says that five dragonets (dragons who are children) are the key to stopping this war. These five dragonets have been raised to end the war, but soon they realise that the people who want to end it have other plans. This is a long series. The first five books focus on the war. Books six to ten focus on an old legend and the aftermath of the war. The last few books are about another island where dragons have different powers but there is an evil force that is trying to destroy them all.
