^This series is about a pair of twins- Alex and Conner. A year after their father”s death, Alex is given a magical book by her grandmother, which teleports them to another world, the land of stories. Throughout the course of the book, they learn that the stories written by the brothers Grimm are true and are actually records of what happened in the land of stories. Later in the series, after discovering her true connections to the land of stories, Alex decides to live there and become the next fairy godmother.

I really love this series, and it is a really fun read. I rarely enjoy reading companion books, but Chris Colfer has really made even the companion books for this series amazing to read. It’s good for ages 10-13.
