^This is a book I love. It is about a girl named Sophie, who learns she is an elf and goes to live with other elves in the Lost Cities. She soon makes friends and learns that the elves' perfect world, isn’t so perfect after all. Sophie gathers all her friends to fight against an enemy who threatens the very foundations of their society.

I now feel like the series has stretched on for too long, and Shannon Messenger has lost sight of the original story. I would have preferred it if it was shorter and crisper. The cliffhanger endings also make it seem like the author herself has no idea how to end this series, but that is just my opinion. I still like reading these books but am getting quite bored with how long the story stretches.
