^This is a story about a thief known as the Highway Rat. He robs anyone crossing the highway and leaves them starving, taking all their resources. He is then tricked by an intelligent duck and changes his ways. The book ends with the highway bandit getting a job at the cake shop. This book is extremely fun to read, but it has many lessons built into it. Some of which are the pitfalls of greed and the importance of earning through hard work.
