^This is a modern twist to Cinderella. It is about a self-sufficient girl called Cinder Edna who manages to make it to the prince’s ball all on her own. She does not like the prince, and finds him pompous and boring. But falls in love with the prince’s younger brother, who is a lot like her. He cares about the environment and tells great jokes. This is an excellent book, especially for little girls, inspiring them to be self-reliant and choose life partners for the right reasons.
