^I wasn’t a huge fan of this book, but my brother loved it. He insisted on reading it every night, so I thought I would include it in my list. It is about a lion who is purchased at Harrods (a department store in London)! True Story! He was bought by two men, John and Ace. Christian lives with them in their city apartment until they realise their apartment is too small for a lion, so they decide to let him out in the wild in Africa. This is a very sweet story about an unlikely friendship. There are lovely videos of John and Ace meeting Christian in the wild years later. Make sure to look them up on YouTube after reading the story.
